Prospective students are encouraged to apply to our graduate programs in MU Department of Biochemistry or Department of Chemistry.
Current students with background in chemistry or biochemistry are encouraged to contact Prof. Lloyd Sumner to discuss your research interests and research opportunities in our group.
Undergraduate Students
We encourage involvement of undergraduate students in our research! Undergraduate research is supported in various ways. Freshmen and Sophomores can volunteer to participate part-time in research that provides exposure to cutting edge bioanalytical instrumentation and methods. Juniors and Seniors can also volunteer or participate in research for credit. We can also often provide hourly wages for Junior or Senior undergraduate researchers that have previously volunteered in our lab. Summer internships for undergraduates students may be available.
